You can use wood for heating from scrap woods, downed trees due to storm , construction sites, landfills, pallets, old & dying trees, and road logs.

Building fire through wood is one of the most inexpensive ways of generating heat and energy in your home or any outdoor activity. Wood is perfect for any camping trip as well if you want to lower the costs. If wood for burning is scarce in your area, get to know places where you can salvage free firewood.

Scrap wood

A woodworking shop in your locale may have leftover wood that they may longer need. These types of wood make good burning materials and you are offering them disposal services at the same time.

Downed trees due to storm

Strong winds can bring down old and rotten or even a firm tree. If any of these are found within your locale, you can assisting in clearing up this tree and the debris to make a free and good firewood.

Construction sites

It’s a good place to find leftowver wood products or low-quality lumber that they cannot use. Wood scraps are mostly likely found here, but not all are good and safe for burning.

Landfills

You can scavenge parts or old furniture, pallets, crates, leftover building materials in the dumpsite or landfill which can make a good burning materials. Not all wood found here is safe to use thought. Most landfills permit removal of scrap wood materials to promote recycling.

These type of trees are always left untouched until they eventually fall down, so you can ask permission to take it down. Assist the homeowners in removing these trees, especially the seniors. These wood are very efective burning agents.

A decent pair of tennis shoes is an absolutely indispensable part of any tennis player’s locker. With so much strain and strain being exerted on a tennis player’s feet all through the course of a game, it is very essential that the feet are protected by the very best tennis shoes.

The sole of the shoe is clearly very significant since this is where the entire grip is generated which enables players to maneuver so well. Those lightning quick changes in direction; immediate acceleration from a standstill position; fast braking when running into the net or the court boundary; the leaps, the turns, the service action etc. With ill-fitting or poor performing shoes, all of these actions can be impaired, and in the worst-case scenario, players can feel pain and perhaps even incur injuries.

When a player is in the midst of a game, he/she wants to focus 100% on the game itself and their own performance. Any thoughts or concerns about grip, or pain and discomfort are totally off-putting. Games can easily be lost this way, only because of lack of complete concentration.

But it’s not solely the sole of the foot which a player will be concerned about. The whole of the foot needs to be appropriately protected and supported, in particular, the top of the foot. The entire foot has to be able to breathe. Air circulation inside the shoe is essential. Without it, the foot is likely to begin to sweat. Sweat can lead to socks and shoes becoming damp, and that in itself can cause chafing and inflammation.

All good quality tennis shoes include small eyelets in the side of the shoe just above the sole. This is great airing for facilitating the stream of air both in and out. Nevertheless the top of the shoe (commonly referred to as the upper) is an important issue in this airing question too.

A great deal of today’s tennis shoes are manufactured with synthetic uppers. The basis for this is that synthetics are excellent for keeping rain or dampness out, and they are lightweight too. Nonetheless, the issue with synthetics is just that — they are synthetic; they are not natural. Different people have different reactions to various materials, and the fact of the matter is that some synthetics can cause the feet to sweat, and as they are made with certain chemicals, these can in certain cases cause allergies and additional reactions.

So, one of the best materials for use in making tennis shoe uppers is canvas. Canvas is one of the original materials that the earlier tennis shoes were made from, and the excellent thing about this material is (a) it is a totally 100% natural material, and (b), it is a material that breathes naturally and therefore allows your foot to breathe too. The additional excellent thing about canvas is that it is very solid, so this allows tremendous support for your feet, nevertheless it also means that your shoes will be quite long-lasting. In actual fact, the soles and the grip will worsen long before your canvas uppers will.

A reflection of the success and suitability of canvas uppers is that the top tennis shoe manufacturers all offer canvas tennis shoe options. For those fashion conscious players, retro tennis shoes (in canvas, of course) are also very much the rage.

By Chris Crum 1

The other day, Google CEO Eric Schmidt gave quite an inspirational speech at the University of Pennsylvania, in which he shared his interpretation of the meaning of life. He talked about technology and the importance of the organization of the world’s information – Google’s ultimate goal.

Schmidt was interviewed by the Financial Times, with whom he shared a lot more interesting thoughts and insight, but focused more on the business side of things this time. In the interview, he discussed:

- The news industry
- Fair use
- Online video
- Twitter
- Acquisitions
- The future
- The economy

The interview is quite lengthy, but certainly worth reading. Following are a few choice quotes from Schmidt:

On Paying Newspapers More for Aggregating Content…

"The real issue here is that when people are reading the news online, we’re not monetizing it in aggregate, so if we were to transfer money we would be taking money from something unrelated to newspapers and just paying them, which doesn’t seem like a good sustainable model for anybody."

On Fair Use…

"We have evolved in the United States a fair use doctrine that’s pretty broadly agreed to. And my experience with lawyers is that they’re always arguing on the corners of, you know, is it 30 seconds or is this 15 seconds? But there’s clearly a document for use that’s been around for a very long time; it’s unlikely to be changed."

On YouTube Monetization…

"We think YouTube is a huge success… It’s an audience far larger than what traditional television sees; it’s a global audience. And we will, over time, develop the advertising models and subscription models eventually that will make that a very good business for us."

On Hulu:

"We actually like the Hulu structure, we’re glad that the industry has such a structure and we think that the more players getting content online, even if it’s not something that we directly control, that’s good for the industry."

On Twitter:

"I can’t comment about buying anybody; we certainly think Twitter is very successful and people are using Twitter in the most amazing things. The most obvious use of Twitter is everybody is watching a play and are busy talking about the play while the play is underway. So this notion of real-time updates from people is very, very powerful."

He also talks about how he doesn’t intend to do anything else after his stint with Google. He says that’s it for him (and especially no politics).

There is a whole lot more from Schmidt in the Financial Times article. As usual, he has plenty of interesting things to say.

According to the US Fire Administration, residential fires claim 4,000 American lives each year, one of the primary causes of which is electrical problems within households. Most incidents either stem out of the misuse of electrical appliances or opting for the do-it-yourself process with regard to electrical wiring installations instead of trusting electrical companies to do the job.

Usual electrical problems are the unconscious or careless wrong handling of electrical household appliances and equipments. When it comes to using electronics, remember to plug them at the right socket to have just the right flow of electrical energy and prevent overheating or short circuits. The use of extension cords as a permanent solution is not advisable as compared to having proper receptacles installed, as these things usually heat up.

In addition to this, there are appliances and fixtures that heat up and may start a fire so be aware of where you place them. Never leave combustible materials near these equipment such as pieces of clothing or rugs. Be alert when it comes to loose connections or broken wiring, especially when they are near places with water. When electrical devices are for a certain environment, use them as instructed as they are designed specifically to work best under such circumstances and may cause harm if used elsewhere.

When it comes to electrical installations and repairs in your house, its better to trust professionals. Handling electrical matters without proper knowledge may just aggravate the situation in the long run. The do-it-yourself system can only help you to a certain degree so unless you know completely what you’re doing, it pays to get the expert’s advice or better yet, letting them get the job done right.

Awareness is the most important step in fire prevention. Know how you can avoid this incident from happening within your household. No matter how big or small the tasks may be, you can never be too careful when it comes to protecting your property and your family.

For more information, check out this site on electrical installations and repairs.

Except for the big-screen and the lifelike image resolution, there are other benefits that a Samsung LCD TV can give. One sure advantage is the bright and crisp image resolution that’s close to nothing.

televisions from the brand also have anti-glare mechanisms which offer almost no glare . Not like the common curved screens, the profile of a flat screen LCD television will not catch light from any point of light or direction and will never send glare to its spectators.

usual televisions’ mechanism may be compared against a mirror in that it can be exposed to light at certain directions. But modern televisions such as those manufactured by Samsung will not reflect light unless a really powerful source of light is placed in that specific direction.

Samsung LCD TVs do not have the cathode ray tube mechanisms ; what they have is the flat screen technology. In a CRT system, there is a gun-like machine that shoots electrons at a certain speed on the surface of the TV. When an electron hits a surfaces, it glows and brings about a pixel that in turn produces the image.

you will notice the curved screen on a CRT television. This is obligatory as the depth will position the electron shot so there will be a projected image. On the other hand, a flat screen television makes use of a different source of light. It polarizes filters and thin layers of liquid crystals. The thin layer is really thin making the Samsung LCD TV unit space-efficient.

But then it’s a given fact that a flat screen or a Samsung LCD TV will be dearer than a CRT unit. However , the growing demand for LCD TVs made the price more affordable to the consumers. To reach a bigger market, manufacturers have dropped their prices in such a fashion that consumers from different social status can afford in purchasing one that fits their budget. Moreover, it is reviewed that patrons can save more money in a flat screen TV because Samusung LCD TVs are made to consume less electrical energy. So, shoppers will save some more cash in terms of their energy usage bill.

another benefit of having a flat screen television like that made by Samsung LCD TV is that it offers brighter and clearer picture resolution. Compared to ordinary televisions, there’s a massive difference in the sharpness and clarity of the images. Film addicts can actually experience true home entertainment with their Samsung LCD TV.
.

I like to write articles about electronices

The European Union Telecoms Commissioner Viviane Reding has supported reducing the price of sending a mobile text message from one EU country to another by 16 cents.

Reding’s proposal is now being distributed to all other EU Commissioners before they formally implement it in early October. The EU’s 27 member states and the European Parliament must also approve the measure.

Around 2.5 billion texts are sent every year by roaming customers in the EU and cost about 10 times more than domestic texts.

Roaming texts account for 97 percent of pure revenue for operators, Reding said in July. A roaming text costs about 29 euro cents to send.

The proposal extends by three years to 2013 restrictions, which are currently in place on roaming voice calls. The voice roaming law has been a popular policy in the EU.

Reding also plans on introducing changes to billing. Instead of charging by the second she wants to charge by the 31st second of a call to prohibit operators charging by the minute for a call that lasts just a few seconds.

The billing changes will likely face resistance as a number of EU states have laws that require billing by the second from the first second.

Reding is also proposing a wholesale cap of 1 euro per MB to surf online using a mobile phone or laptop. The current price is about 3 -4 euros.

MLM Success…Ah, the ever elusive beast. It doesn’t matter where I am, whether it be on the internet, or in my own day-to-day dealings with people in MLM, it appears that each and every person is trying to get hold of that “secret” formula for MLM Success. How is one supposed to get to the top in this business? Well that’s easy – or that’s what you hear from lots of Network Marketers as they try to pitch new prospects – but is it really that easy? Let’s explore…

Dreamer vs. Goal Setter…or BOTH
I think it’s really important to suss out this important topic before we can get to the meat and potatoes of MLM Success because without dreams/goals, you’re dead in the MLM water.

I’ve got to tell you about this brief but eye-opening conversation I had recently. There’s a guy I know – he’s not in MLM – but he is looking to achieve success…in the field of sports. Now this guy plays his game of choice every day. He’s relentless. Never does he have a free moment when he’s not playing. He marks this number one on his to do list. Note: we should all be doing this with our MLM business too. But here is where he went terribly wrong…

I was so taken with his noticeable resolve, that I put this question to him: “So, what’s your goal?”. So, this self-assured-appearing fellow just turned pale, and in an uncomfortable fashion, said: “Oh, I don’t have a goal with it…yet…Right now it’s only a dream… until I start having some success”. YIKES! Let’s talk about ALL the things wrong with that sentence

To start with, your goal and your dream ought to be ONE THING. To realize MLM success or any for that matter, it’s essential that you dream, and dream LARGE. You must transform that dream into your goal and keep your eye on the prize until you get it. The great motivational speaker, Jeffery Combs, is always talking about how others in his life always tried to give him a “reality check” and kept telling him to “stop chasing rainbows”. Isn’t that nuts? Had Jeffery heeded their advice, there’s no way he’d be the amazing 7-figure speaker, coach and mentor to to so many that he is today. The heck with what others say. CHASE THE RAINBOWS!

Okay, let’s see what else wasn’t Kosher with what this guy said? Surely you noticed this red-flag phrase “ONLY a dream”. Isn’t it sad how he put his own passion at the bottom of the list with that? ONLY a dream? If you don’t make your dreams and your goals into that one force that drives you, then how can you ever achieve them?
Can you see how he also got a little mixed up with his order — putting success BEFORE goals/dreams. Doesn’t that seem a little twisted? The goal/dream first. The results will follow. It seems so simple yet so many marketers keep this same backwards thinking in tact. We want proof before we are willing to commit to our dream/goal.

Dream Commitment
If that’s where your head is at, take this moment to make a commitment to yourself to change your tune right now. alter the script in your cranium. Meld that goal and dream into one piece. Go write it on paper. Yes, WRITE it down. The power of your goals/dreams on paper is vast.

My friend will never know what an impact that small exchange had on me. It’s crazy how much I learned from it. Wisdom comes from so many unexpected places. Don’t waste any opportunity to learn from others and let it drive you to the great heights of your own MLM Success!
